Plain language, no tricks. Your career is personal, and we treat it that way.
Your profile, résumé text, saved jobs, notes and settings are saved in your own browser. When you upload a résumé file, it is read inside your browser. It does not leave your device until you apply to a job or ask for a tailored résumé.
Quick Apply. When you apply, we store the details you chose to send (name, email, and whatever the employer asked for, such as phone, résumé, salary expectations or answers) so the employer can review them. The application details are encrypted where we store them.
Following employers. We keep an anonymous device code and the list of employers you follow, so we can send alerts. If you turn on push notifications, we keep the address your browser gives us to deliver them.
Tailored résumés. Your résumé is sent to our AI provider to write your tailored version and the result comes straight back to you. We do not save a copy.
Payments. Cards are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Visitor logs. To stop abuse we count requests per day using a scrambled code made from your connection address, not the address itself. We also count how many different people visit each day, using the same scrambled code, so we know if the site is being used. It cannot be turned back into who you are. We do not run advertising trackers.
Your messages to Racun are sent securely to our AI provider to write a reply. Racun may also see your current screen and, if you filled them in, your job title, target role, years of experience, state, minimum pay and skills. It never sees your name, email, phone or résumé text. We do not save your chat on our servers. Clean Sweep clears the chat from your device.
Only the employer you applied to, through a private link, and a very small number of our team for support and safety. Employers use applicant details only to consider candidates for the job you applied for.
Applications are deleted automatically after 90 days. If you are hired, we keep only your name, email and the hire date for billing, and we remove the rest after 90 days.
Employers who already received your application keep what you sent them. If you want it removed from their records, ask them directly.
Everything travels over secure connections. Application details are encrypted in storage. Employer inboxes sit behind long private links that are hard to guess and not indexed by search engines. Our résumé-reading tools are hosted on our own site instead of a third party. We limit how fast anyone can send requests, and we keep the pages locked down against being embedded or tampered with.
